Sunny Days

What a BEAUTIFUL weekend we had! The weather was gorgeous! Sunny and in the mid seventies on Saturday and mostly sunny in the sixties on Sunday...it was just lovely :) After the three sleepy heads finally woke up on Saturday (Nate was the first one up at 9:15am, Emma & Abby followed at 9:30 and 9:40...and of course on the day that they sleep in I was wide awake at 6:30am...go figure!) we got ready and headed off to what I think will become one of our favorite places, Long's Park. We spent the majority of the day there and had a great time!

We had our first picnic of the season...

Saw some pretty signs of spring...

Spent lots of time exploring at the duck pond...

Abby was pretty clever making her very own fishing rod with a long stick and attaching flower petals to the end of it in effort to catch a fish.

And of course we played on the playground...

By the time we left, everyone was hot, sweaty, thirsty and tired!

We had so much fun on Saturday that we went back on Sunday, this time with Daddy...

Such a cool dude...

Sunday evening we had a few surprise visitors on our front lawn...

The kids were so excited to see duckies at our house and had fun feeding them some bread...

It was such a great weekend! Now, back to reality...work, no kids, and rain....ughhh :(

The park you went to reminded me
alot of Dunn's Park in Gardner!
It's always nice to have a nice
place like that just to hang out
and enjoy the day..and each other
of course!
