It's hard to believe...

Not too long ago we were outside doing this...
and this...
and then just a few days ago we were doing this...
Snow, snow, and more snow came down on us here in PA! We missed out on the first storm that came through last weekend while we were in Mass, but there was plenty more that came our way on Wednesday. I must say, I usually despise snow. Growing up in Mass, I have endured my share of snowstorms. Last year was my first winter in PA and I really liked it. We did see some snow, but it never lasted long and we didn't get this much! However, I actually enjoyed this most recent snowstorm we had. Because of it, Jake and I both ended up with two days off from work in a row in the middle of the week together...that NEVER happens! Wednesday was spent cuddled up on the couch with a blanket, a book, and my love (when he wasn't outside shoveling!) and Thursday was spent outside with these three cuties...

It was so nice to not go anywhere or do anything for a couple days. It felt like someone had pushed the "pause" button on our life and we got an unexpected time out from reality. No work, no school, no commuting or traffic or juggling schedules. It was a brief pause, and we were back to reality by Friday, but it was still a good little break. Now...I'm ready for spring!

We had fun!

We had such a fun visit in Massachusetts last weekend! We saw all of our families and celebrated Emma's 9th Birthday!! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures at the moment to share of our wonderful weekend. When we were on our way to Mass Friday evening, I realized (somewhere in Connecticut) that I FORGOT MY CAMERA!! Needless to say, my husband was NOT about to turn around and drive back to PA so that I could get it. But don't worry, I do have pictures of Emma's party, it's just that they are on Barbara's camera right now and not loaded in my computer. So, at some point I will backtrack and share with you all the great memories we made on this visit. For now I just want to say "Thank You" to all of our families for, once again, making our visit with you so special.
