Super Girl

Last week was a week of chaos. As most of you probably know, Abby was very sick last week and spent several days in the hospital (if you need to be filled in on this you can go to Judy's blog). Nathan somehow ended up at Judy's house for the week and he wound up with bronchitis. With that being said, a lot of time and energy was focused on Abby and Nathan...which is totally understandable. Then there's Emma...who wasn't sick, was at home, and went on with day to day life. With all that was going on, it's easy to take for granted the flexibility, understanding and grace that was displayed by this 9 year old. We seldom heard a complaint from her and she was quick to adjust to schedule changes at the drop of a dime. We just want to take a minute for Emma... to express how thankful we are for her and how much we appreciate her maturity. She is an amazing young lady, a wonderful big sister, and an incredible daughter & step-daughter. Thank you for being so understanding last week.

We love you!

Nikki, thanks for taking a minute to focus on Emma. With all the chaos in your lives lately, it is so easy to overlook how difficult that this must have been on her, as well. Emma has always been so mature and understanding, and has such a caring soul. I know that you all are so proud of her.
Love to all of you,
Christine

Emma is a great kid and an awesome big sister! From one big sister to another - it's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it!!!

Love,
Renee
