VBS

Friday evening was the closing performance for Vacation Bible School week at the kid's church. Emma and Abby both participated in VBS all week long and were each in a performance that evening. Jake and I were so pleased that we could attend this event with the them!

We brought Emma to her group first. She said she was a little nervous, but you couldn't tell! She looked so calm and collected.

Then, we brought Abby to her class. She was sooooo excited about being in the show and wasn't the least bit nervous.
Abby's show was first. It was difficult to get a good picture from where we were sitting, but she is in the center of the top row. Abby did such a great job at singing all the songs and doing the motions!
Nathan had the best seat in the house! He was excited to see his sister up on stage and kept waving to her throughout the performance.

After the show there was an ice cream social.
We had to wait a little while for Emma's performance. Nathan kept himself amused by running up and down this hill over and over again!
It was extremely hot and humid that night, and Daddy was a little sweaty from chasing Nathan around so, Abby thought she would help cool him off by blowing on his head!
Emma's group was the Tucan's.

Emma and Abby, you both did such a great job on your performances! We are proud of you and so happy we got to be a part of this night with you!
