Hippity-Hoppity Easter!

We enjoyed a wonderful Easter Day at Nana & Grampa Daly's house with the whole family. The sun was shining, the temperature was warm, the house was filled with family...it was perfect! As always, Nana did an amazing job putting together the whole day :)

Getting ready for the Easter party, we had fun decorating some glittery eggs...

Nate was pretty excited about preparing for the Easter Bunny to come visit him. He was enthusiastic about leaving out some carrots and going to sleep right away so the Easter Bunny would come leave him a basket full of goodies. Nate even told us exactly where the Easter Bunny would leave his basket :)

The kids had a blast searching for eggs with all of their cousins...

It wasn't long after the egg hunt was over that all the kids were ready to dig into their goodies!

Our favorite part about the day? Family!

Thanks Nana, once again for welcoming us into your home for the weekend. We had so much fun with you and all of the family on Sunday. Thank you for the memories

Easter Fun

We celebrated Easter a day early with my Mom, Memere & Pepere. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time enjoying each other's company. The whole afternoon was planned for the kids' entertainment, but at the end of the day I'm not sure who had more fun...Emma, Abby & Nate or Gram-Gram, Memere & Pepere!
There was sidewalk chalk drawings....
Nathan even got Pepere in on the fun (can you even believe he's 80 years old!)...
There was Easter egg decorating...
There were plenty of smiles...
and giggles...
There were the 3 cutest bunnies ever...
And money, money, money! According to Nathan, he is now rich! Wish I could say the same thing when I receive 5 dollars!! Looks like we will be taking a trip to Five Below in the near future :).
Thanks for a great day & all the goodies! We love you!

Welcome Spring!

What a first day of spring we had! It was an absolutely beautiful weekend here in PA. Just what I would imagine the perfect spring day to be: warm, sunny, full of outdoor activities and lots of smiles:) Our day began with breakfast out on the sun porch. We were outside ALL DAY and it was wonderful! We golfed, roller bladed, rode bikes, went on a walk, colored with sidewalk chalk, and had picnic all in one day. We finished the day off with our first taste (and best because it was FREE to celebrate the first day of spring!) of the season of Rita's water ice...yum!

And that was just on Saturday! The outdoor fun continued on Sunday with a trip to a local state park. Oh, how I love springtime!

Look Who's Two!!

I can hardly believe that two years have passed by! It seems like just yesterday I became and Auntie for the first time. I love my little nephew, Connor. I am sad that I live far away and can't see him more often, but am grateful that I live close enough to be able to participate in events like his birthday party. He is turning into being a very intelligent, curious, funny little boy!

Yes...I am a proud Auntie!
Happy Birthday Connor!

New Posts

Just wanted to let you know I updated our blog and there are 3 new posts to check out!

Super Girl

Last week was a week of chaos. As most of you probably know, Abby was very sick last week and spent several days in the hospital (if you need to be filled in on this you can go to Judy's blog). Nathan somehow ended up at Judy's house for the week and he wound up with bronchitis. With that being said, a lot of time and energy was focused on Abby and Nathan...which is totally understandable. Then there's Emma...who wasn't sick, was at home, and went on with day to day life. With all that was going on, it's easy to take for granted the flexibility, understanding and grace that was displayed by this 9 year old. We seldom heard a complaint from her and she was quick to adjust to schedule changes at the drop of a dime. We just want to take a minute for Emma... to express how thankful we are for her and how much we appreciate her maturity. She is an amazing young lady, a wonderful big sister, and an incredible daughter & step-daughter. Thank you for being so understanding last week.

We love you!

Reunited

After a week of being apart, the Marshall kids were finally reunited on Sunday afternoon...yay! Nathan finally made his way home from Greencastle and Abby was feeling well enough to leave Mom's house for awhile. You can tell by the smiles on their faces they were pretty happy to be back together! They were all anxious to hear each other's stories about their week. It didn't take long for the usual sounds of laughter & silliness to fill the house again :) So glad that everyone is back where they are supposed to be...home.
