On Saturday, we celebrated Jake's 32nd birthday. His actual birthday was the week before (June 5th) but this was our first chance to see the kids since then. We had a lot of fun and what made this party extra special is that Emma did most of the planning for it! A few secret phone calls between me and Emma and... look out! This was quite the celebration complete with decorations, games and presents. Great work Emma!
While Nathan and Daddy were napping in the other room, Emma, Abby and I got to work blowing up balloons and decorating. Finally, Daddy was brought out of hiding and got to see his surprise!
Then, we all played "Pin the Golf Ball on the Club." This was an original (and quite creative) game idea from Emma.
After the game, is was off to dinner at Fudrucker's Restaurant which was also chosen and planned by Emma. She didn't even know that Daddy had been there before, and likes it!
Emma chose Dad's gifts too!
Happy Birthday!!!

Thank you daddy for letting us come to that hotel with you to have that wonderful birthday party. It was so much fun. My favorite part was pin the golf ball.
Love, Abby
When Nate saw these pictures he said, "I was there for that. It's daddy and Mickey."
Emmy,
You did such a great job planning your Daddy's party! It looked like you all had such a great time.
Love,
Auntie Christine
