August visit with the kids

Sorry it's taken so long to update our blog. Life has been a little hectic! Our August visit with the kids was a lot of fun. It was much different than our week with them in July. In July, we went several different places and did lots of things. But on this last visit, we decided to take it easy. We really didn't have much planned, we just took it day by day. Which was probably a good thing because the weather was terrible all week...cool and rainy. The kids got to spend some time with their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Since we were living with the Daly's, they got to see Nana and Grandpa almost everyday. They also spent the day with and slept over Grandpa Marshall and Meme's house and had lots of fun playing with Luke and Logan. Another day they spent at Auntie Christine's house with Beezy and Joe. They also saw their cousin Faith, Uncle Rob and Aunt Heather.
Sunday we enjoyed a lazy day together. We slept in, stayed in our pajamas for a while, visited with Bee and Joe, took naps, and played playstation. It wasn't until late in the afternoon that any of us had the ambition to go out of the house. Finally, around 4:30pm, we headed to Leominster to watch Jake's softball game and get some dinner. It was a pretty uneventful day but it was nice to just hang out and be together.

Sunday was a lovely, warm, sunny day...until we arrived at the softball field. As soon as we got there and settled, the rain started. The game went on anyways and the kids had a blast dancing and running around getting soaked!

Do you like Nate's new look?
