Celebrate Good Times!

Saturday we had a birthday party to celebrate both Abby and Nate's birthdays. We are so glad that Nana, Auntie Christine, Elizabeth and Joseph could come to PA to share this special day with us. We had a delicious meal prepared by Nana, some birthday cake, a couple games a few presents and lots of fun!

Here's a hint...it wasn't Jake ;)

Nate seemed to really enjoy tossing the balloon into the hoop (aka Nana's arms). Although, he kept aiming for Nana's face rather than the hoop. Who knew Nana would be such a good backboard? As always, she is a good sport!

Time to get the goods! Nathan was such a gentleman and let Abby open her presents first. He sat with his hands folded in his lap and patiently waited until she was finished. What a sweetie!

Abby was quite excited about receiving a credit card (technically a KMart gift card, but to a five year old it's a credit card). Something tells me we are all going to be in trouble when this girl is a teenager!

She also got a bunch of teeny, tiny dolls. Someone knows what this girl likes!

I was pretty excited about the carrying case for the teeny, tiny dolls...this makes clean up and tidying much easier!

Time to tear through your gifts Nate!

It's a tractor that makes lots of noise! Thanks so much Nana...this sounded great at 6:45 Sunday morning!

Nate got a card in the mail from Grammie Crawley wishing him a very Happy Birthday.

Inside were $3 just for Nate. I think this was his favorite gift of all. He carried around his money in his hand all day. He refused to put them in his pocket and even took a nap with them :)
