"Firsts"...we all have them. In the lives of our kids it is usually, first steps, first words, first birthdays, first days at school, first recital, first sports game and many more. In the midst of all these great "FIRSTS" there are a few words that seem to ring out loud and clear..."I went pee on the potty!" Using the potty is something that Nathan has been working on lately. So, when Nathan told us on two different occasions that he had to go potty, we siezed the opportunity to encourage him in this. We figured we would let Nathan tell you how it has been working out for him. Enjoy, and pay close attention and listen for where he actually went :).

Ok, Nate's version of peeing on the potty is just about the most hilarious thing I've heard in a long time! I love the way he insisted on correcting daddy when daddy was trying to say that he peed in the potty! Too funny! Totally made my day! And his haircut looks great.

nikki, i've been reading your blog for acouple weeks now... and i enjoy how you write and post about what you guys do.
Yeah, Nate was actually sitting on the potty but his aim was way off!! It's a little tricky to do without a splash gard. What Nate didn't mention is that he not only peed all over the floor but also my foot! That's ok though...the important thing is that he is interested in using the potty, we just need to work on technique :)
lol that's too funny!!! i'm potty training one of my kids at work... it's no fun to get them to aim. in other words, i've been peed on too ;)
